Marker Index
Interactively jump to markers, change their color, and delete them.
Basic Navigation
In the edit page, in the toolbar, click “Workspace > Scripts > Marker Index”.
At the top, set your color, type, and timeline filter to view preferred markers.
Select markers by Ctrl+Clicking, Shift+Clicking, or Click+Dragging then use the buttons at the bottom for expanded capabilities.
Hint: Double clicking any marker will jump your playhead to it
Marker Editing
Select the markers you'd like to edit by Ctrl+Clicking, Shift+Clicking, or Click+Dragging.
Select the color in the dropdown at the bottom left then click "Flip Selected to", and the color of those markers will change
Edit the note at the bottom left then click "Append to Note" to append marker notes as a new line
Finally, delete markers with the "delete selected" button at the bottom right.
Exporting a .csv
Select the markers you'd like to edit by Ctrl+Clicking, Shift+Clicking, or Click+Dragging. Then click "Export .csv"
In "What should the file be named?" type a file name.
The below information should be filled out according to your project, it will all be included in the csv header.
To select export path, click “Select Export Location” and navigate to the desired folder then click “Choose”.
Hint: The “Please select a folder” text should change to the path you’ve selected.
Click "Create csv" to create!
Rendering Markers
Create a Render Preset you would like to use with this Script on the deliver page in resolve, make sure to set “Filename uses” to “Custom name” if you want to select a name in the script. Setting the preset to timeline name will populate the timeline name.
Select choose all markers you'd like to export by Ctrl+Clicking, Shift+Clicking, or Click+Dragging. Then click "Render Selected"
Hint: If the marker is on a clip, it will use clip duration. But if the marker is on the timeline it will use marker duration. So if the timeline marker is only 1 frame long, the render will only be 1 frame long.
In the “What preset should I use?” drop down select the desired preset that all clips will render at.
In the “What should it be named?” text box type the name you’d like the .txt file to have. The following dropdown has options for “.” or “_” to be added to the end of the name for image sequences.
Hint: Adding # to the file name will add the shot # (ex. prores# -> prores1, prores2, prores3)
To add handles (from the timeline) select the number from "How many handles should be added?"
To select export path, click “Select Export Location” and navigate to the desired folder then click “Choose”.

Click “Add to Render Queue” to populate the render queue with all the markers in the timeline with the settings you just filled out!
Hint: When setting up your render preset, select ‘single clip’ for record timecode (useful for master patches) or ‘individual clips’ for source timecode (useful for VFX pulls).
